What is an Activation?

Using factory equipment we can code / turn on features that your vehicle has the hardware installed for. Many Defenders aren’t spec’d with all the features they have available from factory, but they can be turned on by communicating with the vehicles computer.

How long do you need the vehicle for?

Whether you’re having one activation or a bundle, we ask for the vehicle for the morning or afternoon. This allows us time to install and test.

If my vehicle has the hardware why can’t I use the feature?

When purchasing a new vehicle from Land Rover, you can add the spec options that work for you, the purchaser may not have selected the option.

Can I turn off the speed limiter warning noise?

This is possible to do through the menu, however you will need to do it each time you enter the vehicle. Configurable Drivers Assist will remember your last setting, reducing the need to filter through the menus every journey.

Can I remap my engine?

We offer a power upgrade service which recodes D200 and D250 engines to run at the D300 factory parameters. Giving you a healthy upgrade in performance!

What is an activation?

An activation is the process of ‘turning on’ an option that the hardware is already available in your vehicle. Using factory JLR equipment we talk to the vehicles computers to allow this bit of spec to be used.

We can also code features making driving a more relaxing experience, permanently muting the speed limit warning and permanently disabling auto start stop.
